US announces Pakistan's assistance to deal with corona virus

In a video message, US host Al-Amor Paul Jones has said that the US will provide more than $ 8 million to Pakistan in the fight against the Corona virus and will cooperate with Pakistan to prevent the spread of the deadly virus.

He said that the US is working on a priority basis to prevent the spread of Corona in Pakistan and the fund will set up three new mobile laboratories for which $ 3 million has been allocated.


US Nazim Alamor said that high-tech emergency operation centers would be set up in all four provinces of Pakistan for which $ 1 million would be spent.

He added that $ 20 million will be used to train community health care workers to take care of people's homes and reduce the burden on patients at hospitals.

Paul Jones says $ 24 million for Afghan refugee camps in Pakistan will be donated through the United Nations Agency for Refugees.

He added that the recent cooperation between Pakistan and the United States is the latest in the health sector, while over the past 20 years, more than a billion dollars has been contributed to the health sector.
At the end of the message, he paid tribute to the doctors and others who fought the corona virus and said that together we can end this deadly disease and save the lives of our people.


It is understood that Pakistan also sought help from the World Monetary Fund (IMF) to fight the deadly virus, on which the Executive Board approved a $ 38 billion relief package.
