Turkey announces lockdown until Eid al-Fitr



ISTANBUL: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoانan has announced that the lockdown in the country will be maintained till Eid-ul-Fitr and said that a Turkish Air Force cargo plane will carry relief supplies to the United States tomorrow.


According to Turkish media, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoانan said that the relief supplies sent to the United States would include protective clothing, surgical masks, N95 masks and sanitizers.

 According to media reports, in a video conference after the cabinet meeting, the Turkish President said that at present the developed countries are a picture of helplessness but we are providing assistance to them while paying homage to them.

 Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoan said that we have sent aid to 55 countries of the world and are using our aid.

 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has claimed that the number of Corona victims and deaths in the country has dropped significantly. He said that the government and the people have joined hands to fight against this epidemic which is yielding positive results.
