ISLAMABAD: Honda and Toyota have shut down their production plants in Pakistan, according to a statement issued by Honda Pakistan. According to the details, while other industries of Pakistan have been badly affected due to Corona virus, the auto industry is also suffering from severe crisis.
All auto companies' production plants were shut down after the country was locked down due to the spread of the corona virus. These production plants have not yet opened. Meanwhile, two companies Honda and Toyota Indus Motors have announced regular closure of their plants. Honda Atlas Pakistan has issued a formal statement in this regard:



The statement said that the company has implemented the decisions taken by the government of Pakistan in view of the Corona virus concerns.

The company is well aware of the fears of the spread of the corona virus, so the production plant was shut down following government orders. Meanwhile, the company has now decided that its automobile manufacturing plant in Pakistan will remain closed indefinitely. This will also delay the delivery of vehicles. Company officials are closely monitoring the situation, and will resume operations once signs of improvement are seen.
