Blocks a number of fraudsters under the guise of a sponsorship program




Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) blocked several mobile phone numbers sending fake messages under the guise of feeling sponsorship program.

According to the details, several people were lodged complaints to the PTA that they had received fake messages regarding the affidavit sponsorship program asking for identification card number and other details through text message.

The PTA has blocked the eight numbers in the process of fraudulent numbers and sent them to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), which will detect the people behind the fraud.

Authorities have advised people not to share their personal details with any mobile number, and if people wish to report any suspicious activity, they can file a complaint by calling 55055-0800. 
On the other hand, Dr Sanya Nishtar, the Prime Minister's Special Assistant for Feeling program, has also directed people not to leave the house to collect money until they receive a message from 8171.

It is to be remembered that a few days ago, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that until the lockdown situation was eliminated due to the Corona virus, then there would be provided money to the one million families deserving under the Emotion Program, from 17 thousand places to 12 thousand. Rupees will be distributed among the eligible.

Imran Khan said that we will distribute 144 billion rupees to the lower classes, there is no political interference in the sensation program, people's data is coming through SMS which will be examined by NADRA.
